Letter: Habitat for Humanity Cake Walk a big success

To the editor:

Aug. 12, 2017, was an amazing day for a Habitat Cake Walk.

Thanks for to all the cake bakers for the 47 freshly baked cakes, Miller’s Ice Cream for donating vanilla ice cream, Nashville Fudge Kitchen for donating strawberry gelato, Fearrin’s Ice Cream for donating gift cards, Robbie Bowden for his music and our fun-loving cake walkers.

It was a great way to celebrate the completion of our 20th Habitat home this year as well as provide a fun way to honor all of the volunteers, donors and friends of Brown County Habitat for Humanity. While having cake walk fun, we raised over $1,000 for Brown County Habitat for Humanity at this event. Our community is so awesome and generous.
