Letter: Make arrangements on bills before the time comes

To the editor:

Brown County Water customers, here is some information you may not be aware of.

Make sure you and your spouse are listed on the application. If you’re not, have it added now, because if one of you passes away and the other is not listed on the application, they will close the existing account and require you to fill out another application and provide a $75 deposit even if you have been paying the bill yourself for several years and now you’re limited to one income and have to pay a deposit, just adding more stress to what you’re already experiencing.

Hopefully, this letter will help someone else not to go through what I did. Please be sure you and your spouse are both listed on all your bills so you will not be faced with this.

Robin Fugate, Unionville
