Tonya (Bay) Banks, 56, of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at her residence. cross

Born Aug. 26, 1961, to Earl Eugene Bay and Mary Lou (Long) Sons, Tonya attended Brown County High School in her younger years and graduated from Bloomington High School South. She married the love of her life, Andy Banks on Aug. 2, 2002; they resided in the hills of Dawson Springs, Kentucky.
Tonya was blessed with two beautiful daughters, whom she loved dearly; and three stepchildren, whom she loved as her own.
She worked for General Electric in Bloomington and in Madisonville, KY.
Tonya is survived by her husband, Andy Banks; daughter, Jamie Harp (fiance, John Duncan); and stepchildren, A.J. Banks, Patrick Banks, and Wendy Banks; parents, Mary Lou and Richard “Pops” Sons of Nashville; grandchildren, Taylor Harp Crowe, Travis Corbin (Cheyenne), Kayla Corbin (Korey Taylor), Colton Sparks, Mackenzie “Peanut” Sparks, Gunner “Scooter” Sparks; a great-granddaughter, Amelia Taylor, all of Bloomington; brothers, Terry Long of Morgantown, Bill Long of Bloomington, Marvin Bay of Nashville, Eddie Sons of Colorado; sisters, Linda Wetzel (Chris) of Nineveh, Jody Bay of Nashville, Tammy Sons of Colorado; three aunts, Diana Fish of Nashville, Deloris Wilson of Kokomo, and Connie Hubbard of Peoga; an uncle, Bob Bay of Helmsburg; and special friends, Michelle Tincher of Kentucky and Roger Harp.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl E. Bay; daughter, Tracy Lynn Bay Corbin; granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Corbin; son-in-law, Troy Corbin; nephew, William Harp; grandparents, Bill and Clara Long and Marvin and Josephine Bay.

Per Tonya’s request, no services are planned. Cremation was through Harris Funeral Home.
