IUPUC scholarships

COLUMBUS — Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus scholarship donors and their recipients attended a luncheon Sept. 12 at the Columbus Learning Center. Recipients met donors and were able to personally thank them. Scholars from Brown County included:

• Lori Haggard of Nashville, an English major, who received the Ruth E. Reeves Psychology Scholarship and Taylor Brothers Scholarship;

• Elisabeth Nelson of Nineveh, a psychology major, who received the Marvin Rytting Scholarship; and

• Karen Smiar of Nineveh, a biology major, who received an IUPUC scholarship.
