Coach’s comments: The Eagles picked up their first win of the season with a 61-53 win over Bloomington North. It was a game of runs as both teams battled back and forth, with Brown County holding a slight edge at halftime 31-29. The Eagles used a strong start to the third quarter to build a double-digit lead and held a nine-point advantage heading into the final stanza. The Cougars came roaring back in the fourth and claimed a brief one-point advantage only to see Brown County go on an 8-0 run to help put the game out of reach. Allison Stogsdill led the way with some hot shooting, pouring in a career-high 22 points. Gracie Matlock and Aubrey Hollander also helped out in the scoring column with 13 apiece.

Coach’s comments: The Eagles started off strong and never looked back as they picked up a win over North Daviess 50 to 24. Brown County used hot shooting and tough defense to build the early lead as they went to into halftime with a commanding 31-8 advantage. Allison Stogsdill and Gracie Matlock led the way with 13 apiece. Next up for the Eagles is a visit to Hauser on Tuesday.
