SPEARSVILLE — Hickory Ridge Civic League and Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, with lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Upcoming events include:

•Thursday, Nov. 16: Nurse’s visit, 10 to 11 a.m.; cards, puzzles or walking track, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.

•Saturday, Nov. 18: Sausage gravy breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m. Menu includes biscuits, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs, sausage links, pancakes and drink, $5 per adult, $3 per child 12 and younger.

•Monday, Nov. 20: Hoosier Hills Food Bank pickup, 9 to 11 a.m.

•Thursday, Nov. 23: Center closed for Thanksgiving Day.

•Monday, Nov. 27: Civic League meeting, 6 p.m.

•Thursday, Nov. 30: Dinner at Southern Comfort restaurant in Trafalgar. Bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10:30 a.m.
