AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on December 20, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Marisa Payton on behalf of Robert and Julie Miller for a Special Exception to allow a Tourist Home.

The location of the property is 210 North Jefferson Street in Washington Township.

Legal description of premises:

Outlot No. Six (6) in Barnes Addition to the Town of Nashville, Brown County, Indiana, except therefrom the following:

Part of Outlot Number Six (6) in Barnes Addition to the Town of Nashville, Brown County, Indiana, recorded in Miscellaneous Record Number 3, page 502, in the Office of the Recorder of Brown County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at a 5/8-inch rebar found marking the Southwest comer of said Outlot No. Six (6); thence North 01 degree 27 minutes 4% seconds East (assumed bearing) 180.00 feet to a 5/8-inch capped rebar set marking the Northwest comer of said outlot; thence North 89 degrees 14 minutes 36 seconds East with the North line of said outlot 128.75 feet to a 5/8-inch capped rebar set in a fence line; thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West 180.00 feet to a 5/8-inch capped rebar set on the South line of said outlot; thence South 89 degrees 17 minutes 40 seconds West with said South line 13332 feet to the beginning, containing 0.541 acre, more or less.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
