The Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Brown County Solid Waste District Management are seeking help in identifying who might have dumped these distinctive pieces of furniture along Green Road in northeastern Brown County. They were found the week after Thanksgiving. This is just the most recent incident of illegal dumping on Green Road in particular, where BCSWMD Director Phil Stephens said there are now seven TVs and many more tires than when he surveyed the area in the spring. Brown County has ordinances that make dumping of furniture, trash and other items along roads illegal.
