COLUMBUS — Steve and Becky Swift of Columbus will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at New Hope Christian Church Family Life Center. The church is at 1404 W. 400 North in Columbus.

The celebration is given by their daughters. Family and friends are invited.

Steve Swift and the former Becky Taylor were married Dec. 16, 1967, at Nashville Christian Church by Paul Jasper.

He is retired from Southwestern Consolidated Schools in Shelby County.

They have two children, Heather (Brett) Williams and Abby Swift, and three grandchildren.
