Letter: A new year’s prayer for mailbox vandal

0

To the editor:

To whomever smashed our mailbox and snowman decoration on Saturday night, Dec. 16, I pray you had a merry Christmas and you have a blessed new year.

The greatest blessing you could have in 2018 is receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you are serving Jesus, “the Light,” you won’t serve Satan, who is darkness. Evil works in the dark, but Jesus, the Light of the World, dispels darkness.

The mailbox can be replaced, but the snowman has been there at Christmas for many years and can’t be replaced.
