An 89-year-old Columbus woman was treated at the scene for a head injury after a crash Dec. 22 on State Road 135 South.

Otha N. Roberts was northbound near Sunshine Ridge Road when she rounded a curve and her tire came off the road at around 1:26 p.m., according to an accident report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Austin Schonfeld.

Her vehicle continued to go off the east side of the road and came to a stop on the driver’s side, the report said.

Roberts was able to exit the vehicle. She sustained an injury to the left side of her head. She was treated at the scene by EMS.

Her vehicle was towed. She was wearing a seat belt.
