Coach’s comments: The Eagles came up short in a conference matchup with Edgewood. Brown County came out strong in the first half and built a double-digit lead, but the Mustangs turned the tide in the second half, gaining the momentum and never allowing the Eagles to get it back.

Coach’s comments: The Eagles battled rival and conference foe Indian Creek, but fell short, 38-52. Heading into the night, the Lady Eagles were 0-4 and the Lady Braves 3-1 in the Eastern Division of the WIC standings. IC jumped to a 13-5 lead, but Brown County pulled within two at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter saw the game tied at 21 before the Lady Braves went on an 8-2 run to head into halftime with a 28-23 advantage. The third quarter was much of the same, as the defenses took over holding each other to single-digits and saw IC stilling clinging to a slim, 5-point advantage. Brown County opened the fourth quarter with the first bucket, trimming the lead to 34-37, but the Lady Braves took over the rest of the way, holding the Lady Eagles to just 4 points the rest of the quarter, and salted away the victory with clutch free-throw shooting.
