Rex D. Todd, 61, of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation was to be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 2 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 at the chapel with Pastor Jeffrey Gott officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery, Brown County.

Born, Sept. 20, 1956 in Bloomington, he was the son of Oval and Faye (Kinser) Todd.
Rex was a superintendent for many local construction companies including O’Mara Construction in North Vernon and E & B Paving in Bloomington.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the American Legion Post No. 18 in Bloomington.american flag

Rex was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle who enjoyed Sprint car racing.
Survivors include his son, Lloyd Christesen Todd (Shannon); grandchildren, Jeyden and William Christesen, all of Nampa, Idaho; mother, Faye (Kinser) Todd of Nashville; sister, Angie Gott (Jeff) of Bloomington; nephews, Jeffrey D. Gott (Kristine) of Franklin, Tanner W. Gott, and Lacey N. Gott, both of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melinda “Mindy” (Bond) Todd; and father, Oval A. Todd (2001).
