Letter: Sparing the rod has spoiled the children

0

To the editor:

Paul Hardin didn’t go far enough (in his March 14 letter to the editor). The Bible says if you don’t correct your children, you don’t love them.

Since you can’t touch them, when you tell them to do something, they can talk back to you and tell you, “I don’t have to do that and you better not touch me or I will tell on you.” That is when some children do anything they want to do.
