Two juveniles who were reported as runaways on May 14 were found out of county and together the afternoon of May 15.
The two were found in Greenwood, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Department. They were reported as runaways the evening of May 14 from Forest Hills Apartments and a home on Sunset Lane.
The sheriff’s department has handled 15 runaway reports so far in 2018. Public Information Officer Josh Stargell said that there are different circumstances for each case and there does not appear to be a common theme among them.
The Nashville Police Department has not handled any runaway cases this year, but from August to December last year, the department handled at least three, Chief Ben Seastrom said.
