Robert L. Hanner, 80, of Nashville, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Hospice House in Bloomington.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26 in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27 in the funeral home, with Aaron Swafford officiating. Burial will be in Christiansburg Cemetery.
Born in Brown County, July 3, 1937, he was the son of Glenn and Lucia (Stogdill) Hanner. He married Patti Pruitt on Oct. 9, 1954 in Kurtz.
Robert was employed at Cummins Engine Co. and retired in 1999. He enjoyed the outdoors, making gardens, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Pruitt (husband, Bill) of Michigan and Joyce Anim (husband, David) of Georgia; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sharon Henderson of North Carolina; and one brother, Jerry Hanner of New Mexico.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Patti Hanner; his parents; and sister, Donna Lou.
