A Spearsville man was charged with drunken driving after police stopped his vehicle in Nashville.
Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Colton Magner stopped Cody M. Brown, 28, in the 200 block of South Van Buren Street at around 9:15 p.m. May 9.
Magner reported Brown’s speech was “abnormal” and “sporadic.” He also reported that Brown’s manual dexterity was poor, that he had an “off and on” abusive attitude, that his balance was poor, and that he was constantly moving and using exaggerated movements, the affidavit states.
A chemical blood test was administered at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital. The results were not included in the report.
On May 9, Brown was charged with a Class C misdemeanor, operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
