Motorcycle rider treated after crash on Dubois Ridge

JACKSON TWP. — A Bloomington woman was treated at the scene of a crash in Brown County after she told police she lost control of her motorcycle in the gravel in a curve.

Lt. Mike Moore with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department reported that Rachel Mossburg, 26, had minor cuts and scrapes after the crash on July 19. She was treated at the scene by EMS and refused transport to the hospital. She was able to drive the motorcycle back to Bloomington, the report said.

She told police she was northbound on Dubois Ridge Road near Lanam Ridge Road when she lost control, causing her motorcycle to go down.

She was not wearing a helmet, the report said.
