Nicholas “Nick” Robert Oliver, 24, of Brown County, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2018 in his home.

He was born Oct. 2, 1993 in Brown County to Timothy Oliver and Rhonda Miller Oliver.

Survivors include his father, Timothy Oliver (wife, Toni) of Brown County; his mother, Rhonda Oliver of Smithfield, Virginia; his twin brother, Jacob Oliver of Brown County; three other brothers, Brady Oliver and Alexander Oliver, both of Brown County, and Corey Edwards of Smithfield, VA; grandparents, Donna (Kurt) Von Schriltz of Brown County, Bobby and Peggy Miller of Smithfield, VA and Orlene Gritton of Brown County; five aunts, Debbie (Rob) Oliver Dailey, Shannon (Tom) Pope, Kari (Jason) Dechenne, Terri (Kevin) McGuire and Kim (John) York; four uncles, James L. Oliver, Robert (Cherlyne) Gritton, Dan (Tracy) Gritton and John Gritton; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lee Oliver and Curtis Gritton.

Nick was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed going fishing with his dad, brothers and cousins. He was devoted to his large group of family and friends. He will be remembered for his smile and laugh by those who knew and loved him.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North.

Funeral Services are scheduled at noon, Saturday, Aug. 18 in the funeral home with Pastor Wade Compton officiating; burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be given in Nick’s name to the Brown County High School athletic department, P.O. Box 68, Nashville, IN 47448.
