Minor injuries were reported after two vehicles collided on State Road 46 East near Salt Creek Road on Aug. 21.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. Two witnesses reported seeing it, according to an accident report by Nashville Police Chief Ben Seastrom.

James Johnson, 44, of Shelbyville, was eastbound on 46 East when he collided with a vehicle driven by Caitlin Sullivan, 29, of Nashville, causing her vehicle to roll over.

Johnson complained of chest and arm pain, but refused treatment by EMS, the report states. Johnson also had an abrasion near his elbow or lower arm.

Sullivan had minor bleeding to her lower arm and elbow, but was treated at the scene. She had passengers in her car who were also treated at the scene and released, the report states.

Both vehicles were towed. Johnson and Sullivan were both wearing seat belts.
