To the editor:

Thank you to Verne Sindlinger for writing the letter I only thought about writing regarding Mike Bube’s letter published Oct. 24. His suggestion, that those who support a woman’s right to have a choice about continuing a pregnancy are “monsters,” is a very narrow view of those with opposing opinions. I support a woman’s right to an abortion. And I believe she should have the best possible facilities to end a pregnancy in a safe and supportive way. Others may have differing opinions and I respect these differences. But please, let’s be civil about this issue. I do not consider myself a “monster.”
