To the editor:

The BCJHS Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 27, hosted by the junior high PTO, was a huge success, as the school cafeteria was completely packed with people coming in from 8 to 11 a.m. We would like to thank our junior high PTO, school community and local businesses for their support of this great event:

Mr. Daniel Lyng and his choir students for the event performance, Mrs. Laurette Roales and her art class students for their silent auction donations, Mr. Kevin Roush, Mr. Mike Harmon and the junior high student council, Mrs. Terri Whitcomb and the BCJHS National Junior Honor Society, and Mr. Michael Potts and We The People for their student volunteers and event help.

Mr. Brian Garman, principal, and Mr. Greg Pagnard, assistant principal, for cooking pancakes.

Mr. Jason Kirchhofer and Linda Hawkins for their kitchen support.

Mrs. Alyssa Stanley for junior high Facebook and communication support.

Jennifer VanNess and Salt Creek Golf Retreat for donating the sausage.

Wayne Koester and IGA for 9 gallons of orange juice.

Audrey Schultz and Brown County Coffee for their coffee donation.

The Farm House Café & Tea Room for syrup and butter.

Sr. Susan and St. Agnes Church for the use of their griddles and publicity support.

Pastor Cory Joy and Brown County youth group leaders for publicity and youth support.

Gretchen Tipton and her family for donation of supplies.

Justin Loveless and Chocolate Moose of Nashville for their donation of two tubs of ice cream for classroom rewards.

Garry Henderson for his donation of handmade wooden crafts.

We would like to also thank Debbie Herring and Dietrich Gosser of the Brown County Inn for their donation of sausage over the past three events.

We are also very proud of our junior high students who took an active role in raising funds for their student activity fund. We look forward to even greater success in 2019.

Thanks, once again, to our school and local community for their amazing support for our BCJHS students!
