LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION

AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on December 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Erika Bryenton to allow a Special Exception for a Tourist Home.
The location of the property is 2026 West State Road 45 in Jackson Township.
Legal description of premises:
A part of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 27, and a part of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 34, all in Township 10 North, Range 2 East, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point in the center of Helmsburg and Georgetown Public Highway where the section line crosses the same, that line being the One between Sections 34 and 35; thence following that line 47 rods North; thence West 15 rods to a stone marked A; thence South 47 rods to center of above described highway; thence East along said highway 15 rods to the place of beginning, containing 4 acres, more or less; EXCEPT 0.71 of an acre in the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 27, Township 10 North, Range 2 East conveyed to Muncie Scrougham et ux, by Warranty Deed dated Jury 25,1966, and recorded July 25,1966 in Deed Record No. 81,on page 294, in the Office of the Recorder of Brown County. Indiana, ALSO EXCEPT 0.70 of an acre in the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 27, Township 10 North, Range 2 East, conveyed to Muncie Schrougham, et ux, by Warranty Deed dated August 8, 1966, and recorded August 8,1966 in Deed record No. 81 on page 331 in the Office of the Recorder of Brown County, Indiana, and leaving herein described 2.59 acres, more or less.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building located at 201 Locust Lane Nashville, Indiana.
All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
