A Brown County man has been charged with a Level 6 felony after police reportedly found methamphetamine on him during a traffic stop.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht conducted the stop on Jacob Payne, 30, of Spearsville Road, on Oct. 27. Payne had a warrant out for his arrest, and while searching him, Eggebrecht reported finding less than five grams of meth in his possession.

He was charged on Oct. 31.
