PEOGA — A Brown County woman was treated at the scene of a crash for minor injuries after she hit a large patch of ice that caused her to lose control and flip her vehicle on Feb. 8.

The crash was reported at 9:55 a.m. on Gold Point Road near Peoga Road, according to an accident report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy William Pool.

Kiley Walters, 34, was already out of her vehicle and sitting in her husband’s truck when Pool arrived. Walters’ vehicle was on its top in the road.

Walters told Pool she was driving north on Gold Point Road when she hit the patch of ice that caused her to lose control. The vehicle slid sideways in the road before running up an embankment, causing the vehicle to flip.

Walters was treated at the scene for minor face injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
