The Brown County School Board of Trustees approved the following Feb. 21:

• A maternity leave notice for Julia Riebl beginning approximately April 4 and ending the last day of the 2018-2019 school year.
• A maternity leave notice for Paige Wetzel beginning approximately April 1 and ending the last day of the 2018-2019 school year.
• Out-of-state professional leave requests for Emily Lewellen and Alecia Adams to attend a Brown County High School history trip to Nashville, Tennessee on Feb. 22.
• An out-of-state professional leave request for Kevin Greve and Jay Myers to attend the Glazier Football Clinic in St. Louis, Missouri Feb. 22-23.
• For Administrator Assistance to provide a communication specialist to work with Superintendent Laura Hammack, not to exceed 10 days.
• Separating BCHS girls junior varsity basketball coach Ronna Snyder, effective Feb. 12. This was not a termination.
• Separating Van Buren Elementary School after-school assistant Jerrica Shrader, effective Feb. 6. This was not a termination.
• Separating BCHS special education teacher Katherine Stauffer, effective at the end of the 2018-2019 school year. This was not a termination.
