BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corp. has expanded its boil water advisory today after a contractor cut a water main, resulting in more customers being affected by water main work.

Customers on State Road 46 West in the Stoney Lonesome area, and all Southwestern Bartholomew Water customers in Brown County, including those on Georgetown Road, Baker Hollow Road and the Bethany area, are affected.

The boil water advisory is in effect today through 4 p.m. Thursday.

As a precaution, customers should bring water to a full boil for five minutes before consuming it or using it in cooking or food preparation.
