Letter: International visitors share experiences

0

To the editor:

Our daughter unable to accommodate us, we had to find the right place to stay. Traveling about 5,000 miles across the pond, we had to get it right as to our accommodation. We saw this town, Nashville, which looked interesting, and what hotel would suit us?

We booked into the Brown County Inn for the duration of three weeks and what a lovely place it was. The hotel blended well in with the surroundings. We have stayed in many concrete hotel buildings, but this was just a delight. We were looked after well by the staff who were all really friendly without exception.

Regarding the town, everywhere we went the people were all so friendly and helpful. On many occasions, people have been commenting on how they love our accent. The years we have been staying here, we have made quite a few friends in the shops we have visited, and not forgetting our favourite watering hole The Hickory Sports Bar.

Hopefully, God willing, we will be back next year.
