Bluebird club

The Brown County Bluebird Club will meet Tuesday, July 2 at the Brown County Library at 7 p.m. After a short video, there will be a discussion of the current bluebird nesting season. All are welcome.

Pioneer Women

The Pioneer Women’s Club meets each Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the History Center, 90 E. Gould St. Interested women are welcome.

Woodworkers club

GNAW BONE — The Brown County Woodworkers Club will meet Wednesday, July 3 at 7 p.m. at Bill Swigert‘s workshop, 881 Brown Hill Lane off Brown Hill Road. His Goddard Tea Table project will be the highlight.

Beekeepers club

The 10 o’clock Beeline Beekeepers Club will hold its next monthly meeting Monday, July 8 at 7 p.m. in one of the meeting rooms in the lower level of the Brown County Library in Nashville. The major topic of discussion will be this year’s nectar flow.

Those interested in bees, beekeeping or starting a beehive are particularly encouraged to attend. Experienced beekeepers in the club are available as mentors to those thinking about taking up the rewarding activity.

Widowed group

The Brown County Widowed Group will meet at 2:30 pm on Saturday, July 13 at the Sycamore Valley Community Center on the fairgrounds. The topic of discussion will be Chapter 3 from the book “The Seniors,” titled “Should Social Security be Privatized?”

Any widowed person is welcome to join the group.

Tri Kappa

Zeta Phi Chapter of Tri Kappa held their annual Garden party at Brown County Health and Living on Saturday, June 15. Entertainment was performed by Norman and Becky Knight and refreshments and gifts were provided to the residents. Fun was had by all.
