Letter: Thanks to all who came to Nashville Night Out

To the editor:

Thank you to everyone who attended the Nashville Night Out held at the four corners Friday, June 28. We had a great turnout, and I hope the all who attended had fun.

Thank you, Sugar Creek BBQ, for providing pigtastic food and drinks for the event; to Ryan Seward and Seward Party Rentals for providing the outstanding Bounce House; to Jake Atkins for keeping us motivated with the great music, and to the Town of Nashville for allowing us to block the streets so our community members would be safe. Our department always enjoys these events and hope to have another one in the future.

For those of you who are not aware of this event, the Nashville Police Department hosts an annual kids event providing games, food and public safety equipment to play on in a safe environment at the four corners in Nashville. We have been hosting this event for a few years in the same location. We can’t do the event without the help of the Nashville fire department, Indiana Conservation Officers, state police, EMA and other volunteers.

We hope as we continue this event, it grows to allow for more attractions and games for all of the kids in our community to have fun and meet members of our community’s public safety departments.

Ben Seastrom, chief of police
