SPRUNICA — Police are currently searching for two men after responding to a burglary in progress at a home on Smith Road last night.
The breaking and entering was reported just after 6 p.m. in the 3600 block, according to dispatch records.
Two men were seen fleeing the home on foot. One had a smaller build and was wearing a mask. The second man was tall and heavier set, according to a press release from the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
Multiple officers with the sheriff’s department, Nashville Police Department and Indiana Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement tried to locate the men, but were not successful last night.
The incident is still under investigation.
