NOTICE OF AMENDMENT TO BCBOE 2019-01
THIS AMENDMENT IS DATED
NOVEMBER 22, 2019
Reference is made to BCBOE 2019-01 electronically delivered to all prospective bidders on November 20, 2019, and posted to the same by United States Mail on November, 21, 2019 (“RFP”),
The fourth paragraph Article VI., of the RFP fixing the location for opening and examination of bids is amended as follows:
“Bids will be opened during a public meeting of the Brown County Board of Elections commencing at 10:00 a.m., on December 4, 2019, held in the Salmon Room, County Annex Building, 102 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana. ” is deleted and in its place is added:
“Bids will be opened during a public meeting of the Brown County Board of Elections commencing at 10:00 a.m., on December 4, 2019, held in the conference room of the Brown County Emergency Management Agency, 55 State Road 46 East, Nashville, Indiana.,” is added in its place.
This amendment is effective immediately and shall be published at the earliest date in the Brown County Democrat newspaper.

AMENDMENT TO BCBOE 2019-01
THIS SECOND AMENDMENT IS DATED NOVEMBER 25, 2019
Reference is made to BCBOE 2019-01 electronically delivered to then all prospective bidders on
November 20, 2019, and posted to the same by United States Mail on November, 21, 2019, together with the previous Amendment dated November 22, 2019,
and heretofore then delivered by the same media to then all prospective bidders (“RFP”),
Summary of this Second
Amendment dated November 25, 2019
- All proposals must be received not later than 8:00 a. m., (EST), on December 10, 2019;
- Proposals will be opened by the Board of Elections in a public meetingat 9:00 a. m., (EST), on December 10, 2019, at the following location:
Brown County Public
Library Conference Room C 205
Locus Lane Nashville, Indiana 47448
- The public meeting will close at 9:30 a.m., (EST), on December 10, 2019, and the Board will immediately commence, in the same conference room, its executive session with each of the
respondents (appearing individually) promptly at 9:30 a.m.
The RFP is amended as follows:
- The heading of the RFP on page 1 is amended as follows:
“SEALED RESPONSE DUE DATE: DECEMBER 3, 2019, BY 4:00 PM EST,” is deleted.
“SEALED RESPONSE DUE DATE:
DECEMBER 10, 2019 BY 8:00 AM EST,” is added in its place.
2.The first paragraph of Article IV., providing for questions and an
inquiry process is amended as
follows:
“Address any questions you may have regarding this RFP via email or facsimile to the following address not later than November 27, 2019,” is deleted. “Address any questions you may have regarding this RFP via email or facsimile to the following address not later than December 4, 2019,” is added in its place.
- The first paragraph of Article VI., of the RFP fixing the date and time for receipt of proposals is amended as follows:
“All proposals must be received at the address below not later than 4:00 p. m., on the 3rd day of
December, 2019” is deleted.
“All proposals must be received at the address below not later than 8:00 a. m., on the 10th day of
December, 2019,” is added in its place.
- The fifth paragraph of said Article VI., of the RFP is amended as
follows:
“Bids will be opened during a public meeting of the Brown County Board of Elections commencing at 10:00 a.m., on December 4, 2019, held in the conference room of the Brown County Emergency
Management Agency, 55 State Road 46 East, Nashville, Indiana.
Opened bids will be kept
confidential by the Board. Upon opening of the bids but without the bids being shared or
discussed, members of the Board and the public will be given no longer than one hour in total to ask general questions of the Respondents. The Board will then take a 15 minute break and reconvene in Executive Session” is deleted.
“Bids will be opened during a public meeting of the Brown County Board of Elections commencing at 9:00 a. m., (EST) on December 10, 2019, in Room “C” of the Brown County Public
Library, 205 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana. Opened bids will be kept confidential by the Board. Upon opening of the bids but without the bids being shared or discussed, members of the Board and the public will be given no longer than one-half hour in total to ask
general questions. The Board will then convene in Executive Session at 9:30,” is added in its place.
- The sixth paragraph of said Article VI., of the RFP is amended as follows:
“The Board will continue, without Respondents, in Executive
Session on December 4, 2019,” is deleted.
“The Board will continue, without Respondents, in Executive
Session on December 10, 2019,” is added in its place.
This Second Amendment is
effective immediately and shall be published at the earliest date in the Brown County Democrat
newspaper.
