Coach’s comments: Forfeits really hurt the Eagles, who actually won four out of the seven matches wrestled. Wins for the Eagles included: 145: David Tucker, senior; 152: Aiden Vaught, sophomore; 170: Reid Davis, junior; 285: Sam Allen, freshman. At 132 and 160, sophomores Chris Luckey and Brandon Phelps both lost by points, while sophomore Lane Mullins was pinned. The Eagles will be wrestling at home next Tuesday against Indian Creek.

Coach’s comments: The Eagles got a gritty road win at South Putnam. Caleb Yager (12), Carter Kelly (10) and Travis Ely (nine) led the scoring. Kelly had a team-high seven deflections, three steals and three assists. Nicholas Huls also had three assists.
