Ed Graham

Ed Graham passed from this earth on Feb. 2, 2020. He was born on October 9, 1931 in Utica, New York and grew up in nearby Oriskany. He was educated at Utica College and Syracuse University, where he received his master’s degree in Business Administration. He worked for Westinghouse and retired from Cummins Engine Co. as the Economic Forecasting Director. He was co-founder of ACT publications and then founded his own company Freight Transportation Research, with his son Steve, the premier company in the nation on transportation research and forecasting. Among his other accomplishments, he was a former member of the State of Indiana’s Economic Forecasting Committee, work for which he was made a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Bayh. He was also a previous Grand Historian of the Grand Arch Masons of Indiana and an author of a book on Royal Arch Masons.
He was the father of three daughters. Laurie, Regina and Jocelyn and one son, Stephen. He recently celebrated his 66th year of marriage, with is wife, Jerie. He was also the grandfather of three children, Emy Lou Graham, Graham Zellers and Kristen Zellers, and two great-grandchildren, Alex and William. He was a life-long Democrat and worked for John Kennedy’s election in 1960, with his wife. Among a long life of great accomplishments, his one regret was he didn’t live long enough to vote against what he termed “The worst President in the history of the United States, Donald Trump.”
