Donald William Roth, 78 of Nashville died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 in I.U. Health, Methodist Hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1941 in Beech Grove to William Easton Roth and Anna Marie Withem Roth.
He was retired from the Abe Martin Lodge, Brown County Inn and The Seasons Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Roth of Nashville; three children, Amanda Roth of Indianapolis, Brian (Roxanne) Roth of Hartsville and Sarah (Bijan) Jabbari of Franklin, TN; two grandsons, Caden Roth and Ethan Jabbari; a brother, Kevin (Marilyn) Roth; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Cyril Roth.
Memberships include St. Agnes Catholic Church, he was an active volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society and on many bowling leagues for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, being outdoors, watching wildlife and watching his favorite movie, “Forrest Gump.” Don loved his animals, especially his beloved pet cats.
There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1008 McClary Road, on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass.
