Therapy business marks anniversary

Modalities LLC, specializing in “life force energy medicine,” is celebrating its first anniversary serving the Brown County area.

“Modalities” is the term used to collectively refer to the various complementary and alternative therapy systems and practices.

“Unlike traditional medicine, energy medicine is intent-based, promoting self-remediation, by helping clients work on the causes of the problems,” says a press release from the business.

Owners Frank Rogoyski and partner Joyce Sawyer are trained in Quantum Touch, Trinfinity8 and Ascension11 meditations, and Psych-K programs. Rogoyski is a Reiki master/yeacher and studied energy medicine at the Monroe Institute in Virginia. Sawyer is also proficient in EFT (emotional freedom techniques, or “tapping”).

Computer-based meditation technology is used in the Trinfinity8 and Ascension11 systems, which use meditative fractal displays (complex patterns) and solfeggio tones while sending digital information to the body through handheld crystal rods. Remote sessions are also available.

Modalities offers a discount to locals, seniors and veterans. It also has a donation box as an alternative for those who cannot afford the rates. Profits from donations are given to local charities, chosen monthly.

Check the Modalities Facebook page for contact and appointment information and services offered.

CarDon & Associates receives award

Eleven CarDon & Associates communities in Indiana, including Brown County Health and Living Community, received Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2020 Customer Experience Award for providing best-in-class senior healthcare services.

Recipients place a strong emphasis on ensuring the individual needs of every resident are met. Over 2019, a sampling of CarDon’s residents and their families participated in monthly telephone interviews that included open-ended questions as well as the opportunity to rate a CarDon community in specific categories.

Each CarDon community that received the award scored in the top 15 percent of the nation across a 12-month average.

“CarDon takes great pride in the dedication to meet the needs of our residents and their families, and knowing this award was given to us because our residents are pleased with our communities and services makes it even more meaningful,” said CarDon Chief Operating Officer Gregg Gormal.

CarDon & Associates owns, operates or manages 21 communities in the Midwest. For more information, visit cardon.us.
