Aaron Keith Miller Kirby, age 62, of Nineveh, passed away suddenly Sunday morning March 22, 2020 at his residence. Born Aug. 27, 1957 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Kenneth Kirby and Mae Belle (Swisher) Miller. Before retirement Aaron served with the Danville, Indiana Police Dept. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Bean Blossom.
Aaron is survived by his daughter, Ashley Kirby, of Nineveh, his son, Adam Kirby, of Hendricks County, Indiana; five sisters, Marilyn Smith, of Brown County, Indiana, Carol Krebel, of Waterloo, Illinois, Judy Kirby, of Illinois, Debbie Biggers, of Indianapolis and Pamela Rans, of Indianapolis; five brothers, Mark Ballestero, of Johnson County, Indiana, Paul Miller, of Greenwood, Indiana, Jadd Miller, of Ferdinand, Indiana, Roger Kirby, of Indianapolis and Paul Wayne Kirby, of Kentucky and two grandsons, Andrew and James Kirby.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sandy Teeter and one brother, Steve Kirby.
Due to the corona virus outbreak, private graveside services were held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville. A celebration of life is planned for a later date at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Bean Blossom.

Abigail is a Brown County native dedicated to the community in which she has been raised. She joined the Brown County Democrat newsroom in 2019 while studying English at IUPUC, where she graduated in May 2020. After working as the news advertising coordinator for nearly two years, she became reporter in September of 2021. She took over as editor in the fall of 2022.
