Poet’s Corner: “COVID-19”

COVID-19

Is a thief amongst us

Neither can be seen but heard.

Defiles deep within

Our vessels never distinguishing

From young nor old

Nor man or woman.

Darkness is off the bow

This can’t be denied

Don’t let it define

Who we are.

The light we hold

In our hearts

Will no longer let this

Nor darkness to exist.
