Letter: FallFare canceled, but please give to causes

To the editor:

The Nashville United Methodist Church will have celebrated the 48th annual FallFare this October. We have been blessed over the years with great community support. All proceeds raised from FallFare go to mission projects locally and beyond, with every penny going to help someone in need. It is a labor of love by the members of the church, with lots of hands going into baking, crafting, woodworking and much more.

Out of safety concerns for our shoppers and our church members, we wanted to let the Brown County community know that there will be no live or virtual event this year. The four corners of the Village Green will be quiet this Oct. 3. However, our congregation remains committed to supporting the mission projects by individual financial giving.

Should you wish to join in our efforts, please go to www.nashvilleumc.com.

In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you in person next Oct. 2, 2021, as the FallFare tradition will continue!
