PIPESTONE, MINNESOTA — Misty Platt and local physician Lawrence Sanchez were married Sept. 5 in Pipestone, Minnesota.

The groom is a family physician at Blue Elk Family Clinic in Nashville. The bride is a recent graduate of Liberty University with a master’s degree in professional counseling.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and DeEtte Platt of Iona, Minnesota. The groom’s mother is Janie Sanchez of Porterville, California.

Debi Gedotke of Forest Lake, Minnesota and Sheena Punt of Iona, Minnesota were matrons of honor. Danny Soto of Plainfield, Indiana was best man; Eddie Serrano of Fresno, California and Derrick Platt were groomsmen.

Kadence Entinger was junior bridesmaid and Trystan Soto was junior groomsman.

Ariya Serrano was the flower girl. The couple’s dog, Mr. Bojangles, was the ring bearer, accompanied by Audrina Serrano.

Cory Punt of Iona, Minnesota was the usher. Elisa Savold was the officiant.

The reception took place in Hadley, Minnesota.
