Letter: ‘No racism whatsoever with a thin blue line’

To the editor:

Thanks so much for the common sense and decency that prevailed tonight as Jane Gore, Alisha Gredy and David Rudd voted for keeping the “blue line” decals on nine of our police vehicles.

Most Americans respect and honor our men and women who put on those blue uniforms every day, never knowing if they’ll return home at night to their loved ones. Most God-loving, patriotic Americans know that there is no racism whatsoever with a “thin blue line” — a line that shows the love we have for our officers and honoring those that have fallen.

And thanks to Quinn Surface for all of your help.

Thankful, so thankful.
