Letter: Stop by the library this weekend for plant sale

0

To the editor:

Brown County Friends of the Library are excited to announce the annual Plant Sale is back! The sale will be Friday, April 23 from 2 to 6 and Saturday, April 24 from 9 to 2. We will again be joined by the Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District who will be distributing free trees.

Plant donations from Brown Hill Nursery, Backyard Greenhouse, Designscape and Kelp’s Greenhouse, as well as some special offerings from local gardeners will allow you to choose just what you need to start or complete your garden.

Have all the plants you need? This year we will have some special “yard art.” Additionally, there will be books (we do support the library!) on plants and gardening available.

Our Plant Sale provides funds to support our local library projects. Check out our website browncountylibrary.info to see some of the many activities our library offers or stop in and ask any one of the friendly staff members about the programs available. Either way, you will find out our library offers much more than just books!

As always, rain or shine, the Plant Sale will be outside on the lower level of the Brown County Public Library, 205 Locust Lane. For additional information, call 812-988-2850.
