VETERANS’ CORNER: May, a month to celebrate and remember

Chris Snell

Our Coffee & Donuts with the County Veteran Service Officer was a major success in April! Many bellies were jolly and we got to meet some new faces to the veterans side of the house and helped them with their claims. Thank you to all those who attended. What a blessing it is to wake up and do this job daily!

This month, I will be celebrating my first year on the job. Surprisingly enough, it has gone by extremely fast. It is an honor to serve this community and I look forward to continuing to serve you.

Armed Forces Day: Saturday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m., Brown County Playhouse, a WWII Veterans Tribute. There will be a concert held after from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
