Elaine Knight, 75, of Columbus, passed from this life at 9 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Knight was born August 24, 1945, in Columbus, the daughter of Adolph and Hesper Anthony Beauchamp.
She married Howard Knight August 30, 1963.
Elaine retired from Developmental Services after 26 years of service.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 58 years; son, Steven (Shelley) Knight of North Carolina; grandchildren, Cody Knight and Kelsey Knight and her sister Vera Janice Stull of Nashville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Ron Bridgewater officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
We do ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines inside the funeral home and masks are required.
Entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
