Peter K.R. Jones, 76, of Elizabethtown passed from this life on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 6:30 A.M. his home.
Peter was born on July 17, 1944 in Litzmannstadt, Poland the son of Karl Oscar and Hildegard Woelfle Ruppert. On November 27, 1965 he married Althea Drake.
He retired from Baldor Electric Company and was a member of the American Legion. Peter was an avid outdoorsman and gun collector. He loved to hunt, fish, and show cars.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Althea Drake of Elizabethtown; step-brother, John Henry (Gail) Jones of Scipio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, John Henry Jones Sr.; step-mother, Ruby Jones; and a brother, Kurt Jones.
In keeping with Mr. Jones wishes cremation will take place and there will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
