<strong>To the editor:</strong>

I really appreciate the quick response and overall attentiveness of Officer Jacob Gibson, Officer Davis Huynh, volunteer firefighters Nick Kelp and the legendary Dak Kelp. Everyone is safe (including the snake.) Not only was this a startling reminder to check our smoke alarms, but a very real reminder of the understated value of our volunteers. Thank you very much.
