Rotary club

The Brown County Rotary Club will meet over Zoom at 8 a.m. Thursday, June 10.

The guest speaker will be Robert D. “Bob” Feller, chairman of Chariots for Hope Inc., which provides oversight and funding for eight children’s homes for approximately 850 children in Kenya, East Africa.

Feller will expand on the mission of Chariots for Hope of honoring God by providing the opportunity and direction for vulnerable children to develop into Christian citizens and leaders. He will also discuss accomplishing and sustaining that mission while dealing with COVID in a Third World country.

Feller is a self-employed developer/investor and construction manager focused on residential and commercial real estate. Before this phase of his career, he was the CEO of Capmark Financial Group, formerly GMAC Commercial Holdings, which he transitioned from a subsidiary of GMAC to an independently capitalized, investment grade company and then orchestrated the sale of 79 percent of its equity to KKR.

Feller graduated from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, summa cum laude, in 1984 and from Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar in 1988. He is a certified public accountant.

Members of the community, especially those interested in exploring opportunities to participate in projects and to be of service to our community, are invited to attend the remote session. Visit RotaryClubofBrownCounty.org and click on the “Contact us” URL to obtain a link to the Zoom meeting.
