Actors, sponsors needed for musical at Playhouse

The Brown County Playhouse, 70 S. Van Buren St., is seeking both performers and performance sponsors for the November debut of “2020: COVID the Musical.”

Auditions will take place Sept. 13 and 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Playhouse.

Sponsorship pledges can be given in any amount and include certain benefits:

  • $50: Name in the program for the performance.
  • $100: Plaque and name in program for the performance.
  • $250: Plaque and name in program for the performance, name on screen before the show and two free tickets.
  • $500: Business card-sized ad in the program, name on the Playhouse website and Facebook page, name on the screen before the show, four VIP tickets, name as a donor, curtain “Thank You” speech, special recognition plaque.
  • $1,000: Business card-sized ad in the program, name on the Playhouse website and Facebook page, name on the screen before the show, eight VIP tickets, name as a donor, curtain “Thank You” speech, special recognition plaque.
  • $2,500: Half-page ad in the program, name on the Playhouse website and Facebook page, name on the screen before the show, 10 VIP tickets, name as a donor, curtain “Thank You” speech, special recognition plaque.
  • $5,000: Full-page ad in the program, name on the Playhouse website and Facebook page, name on the screen before the show, 16 VIP tickets, name as a donor, curtain “Thank You” speech, special recognition plaque and name as a sponsor on all printed materials.

New Christmas festival seeking event sponsors

The first weekend of December, Nashville will welcome the first annual Christkindl Market, a traditional European holiday market full of gifts, family friendly entertainment and Christmas spirit. The event will feature decorated booths, live music, a tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus and a traditional Christkindl angel.

Businesses and individuals are asked to help sponsor the event. Sponsorship will allow entry to be free and includes various levels of tax-deductible recognition:

  • $5,000: Includes event name integration and consistent brand presence in the entire marketing campaign.
  • $2,500: Includes event name integration and consistent brand presence in marketing campaign.
  • $500-$1,500: Logo displayed on sponsor board at the main entrance, stage and in the market program, mentions from the market’s master of ceremonies.
  • $250 and under: Name listed in the market program and thanks for helping to make the event possible.

Brown County Music Center going cashless

The Brown County Music Center, 200 Maple Leaf Boulevard, will be accepting only credit and debit cards when doors reopen.

The announcement was made on the music center’s Facebook page last week.

They accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

They said on Facebook that going cashless is an effort to keep their patrons and staff safe from COVID-19.
