Nashville woman goes to hospital after 46 West crash

A 20-year-old Nashville woman was injured July 29 after the vehicle she was driving was rear-ended while she was waiting to turn onto Town Hill Road.

Kami Thalls was stopped in the westbound lane of State Road 46 West, waiting to turn left onto Town Hill Road, when her vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle driven by 59-year-old Daniel Dunlap of Mason, Ohio, an accident report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Bowling states.

Dunlap came over a hill with a slight curve and reported seeing Thalls’ vehicle waiting to turn left, but he could not get stopped in time and rear-ended the vehicle, the report states.

Thalls was taken to a hospital for treatment for a back injury. She was wearing a seat belt. Dunlap refused treatment at the scene. He also was wearing a seat belt.
