Senior luncheon served monthly in Nashville

Prime Time Luncheon is served the second Thursday of each month at Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 1750 State Road 46 East, at noon.

The next luncheon will be Aug. 12. Chicken Marsala, many sides and pies will be served.

August calendar for senior community center

SPEARSVILLE — Hickory Ridge Civic League and Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, with lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, Aug. 12: Going to Parkview Church of the Nazarene for lunch, leaving Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.

Thursday, Aug. 19: Senior meeting; potluck lunch, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 20: Seniors Inside Sale, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 21: Sausage gravy and more breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m.; inside sale, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 26: Cards and puzzles; potluck lunch, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
